Make use of the toiles in your fabric collection by making a few of these birds for special peole you know. I made these for everyone of my close friends last year for Valentine's Day. They also make lovely ornaments. Instead of mounting them on a candlestick, sew the bottom closed and add a simple cotton thread to hang. Bird requires a bit of applique on the wing.
